Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)
Medicare-funded dental benefits for eligible children aged 0–17 years.
Medicare Dental Services
Eligible Medicare dental programs where applicable.
Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA)
Dental services for eligible DVA card holders.
Oral Health Fee For Service Scheme (OHFFSS)
Eligible public dental patients referred through participating NSW public dental services.
Children aged 0–17
Child Dental Benefits Schedule, in brief
Financial support for basic dental services for children aged 0 – 17. A child qualifies if they:
- children aged between 0 – 17 years on any one day of the calendar year
- receive, or their family, guardian or carer receives, certain government benefits such as Family Tax Benefit Part A for at least part of the calendar year
- are eligible for Medicare
