What are ClearCorrect® Aligners?
ClearCorrect is a sequence of clear trays made from a 3D scan of your own teeth. Each one differs slightly from the last, and that difference is what moves the teeth. You wear a set for two to three weeks, then move to the next.
Candidacy is assessed with an examination, X-rays and a scan before anything is recommended. Where the case suits it, ClearCorrect gives the same precision of fit at a lower price than the premium brand, and you see the projected finish before starting.

Why Adults Choose Trays Over Braces
Braces work, and for complex cases they remain the better tool. The objection to them is rarely clinical. It is that brackets and wires are visible in every meeting and every photograph for a year or more.

Taking them out to eat is the practical difference. You eat what you like, then brush and put them back. Nothing gets caught anywhere, and nobody at the table has to notice you are having treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions About ClearCorrect® Aligners Haymarket
Expect pressure for a day or so with each new tray, a bite that feels different as things move, a brief lisp at the start, and small attachments bonded to some teeth to give the trays something to push against.
The first days of a new tray are the tender ones, and it eases as the teeth settle into it. Sores are possible but uncommon, and the edges can be smoothed if one is rubbing.
Clean them with a brush, cool water and a non-abrasive paste. Not hot water, which distorts them. Instructions come on every bag.
Engagers are small tooth-coloured bumps bonded on where a movement needs extra grip. They come off at the end and leave nothing behind.
How long depends on how far the teeth have to move. It runs over when trays are not worn enough, when reviews are missed, or when gum health slips, and the first of those is by far the commonest.

The Worries We Hear About ClearCorrect Aligners
Two questions come up before nearly every case.
"What is the difference between this and Invisalign?"
Less than the marketing suggests. Both are clear removable trays planned digitally, and for mild to moderate cases the results are comparable. ClearCorrect usually costs less. Which one you are offered depends on how complex the movement is and what you want to spend.
"Will ClearCorrect affect my speech?"
A slight lisp for a day or two at the start. It goes as your tongue learns the new shape, and reading aloud to yourself hurries it along.
"Can I claim ClearCorrect on my health fund?"
Aligner treatment sits under orthodontic benefits, which is a separate limit from general dental on most extras policies and often carries a waiting period. Check both with your fund before you commit — we give you the item numbers so you can. Flexible payment plans are available for any remaining balance.
What Can Go Wrong
It is a safe treatment. You should still know what you are agreeing to.
- Pressure for a day or two with each new tray
- It only works if they are worn 22 hours a day; less and the teeth stop tracking
- Not suitable for severe malocclusion or complex bite issues — we do not provide fixed braces, and will refer you to an orthodontist if that is what your case needs
- A retainer afterwards is not optional, because teeth drift back without one
